Game Sausage-Stuffed Mushrooms

In this easy appetizer recipe, game meat sausage and bread crumbs make a tasty stuffing for mushroom caps.
- 2lbs. button mushrooms
- 1 pack of your favorite game sausage
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- Salt & freshly cracked pepper
- Preheat the oven to 450 F. Remove the stems from the mushrooms. Brush the caps clean wth a damp cloth. Remove the casings from your favorite D’Artagnan game sausage and mix in a bowl with the bread crumbs. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Stuff the mushroom caps with mixture, place in a shallow baking dish and bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
