Our wild yellowfin tuna is sustainably long-line caught by a small team of fishermen on a single Marine Stewardship Council-certified boat. Each steak is carefully selected from the finest quality yellowfin tuna harvested in the pristine waters of the Pacific Ocean on the coast of Ecuador – the world capital of tuna fishing. Unlike most tuna fish on the market, ours is never treated with carbon monoxide. Instead, using an EU-approved process, the tuna meat is marinated in an all-natural beetroot powder mix to enhance the natural color. Yellowfin tuna has a mild taste and firm texture which adapts well to numerous cooking methods. You can pan-sear, broil, or grill this versatile fish to create restaurant-quality meals at home. It is also perfect for sushi or poke bowls. Yellowfin tuna is a delicious, healthy, lean protein source rich in omega-3 fatty acids, potassium, and vitamin D.

Best Practice Thawing Instructions
Watermark is a collection of premium seafood thoughtfully sourced from fisheries and farms that are committed to responsible practices, respecting their marine ecosystems and the environment, and protecting against overfishing. Together, they represent the “good actors” of the seafood world. Much of the collection is wild and line-caught while some species are sourced from well-managed and pristine aquafarms. To maintain flavor and freshness – without additives and preservatives – our fish is quick-frozen for optimal texture. Our selection of seafood offers quality and flavor for home cooks who care about protecting the environment and demand the best for their tables. Through the Watermark collection, we share not just the catch, but the stories of the fishermen, fisherwomen, and farmers who are truly working towards a better environment and a sustainable future for us all.
