Yes. After applying any valid product and/or order discounts, orders must contain at least $50 of products.

Shipping/delivery charges and gift certificates amounts do not apply to reaching the required minimum product amount.

You can pay using a Visa, MasterCard , American Express, Apple Pay, and PayPal card issued by a U.S. financial institution. (We are unable to accept credit cards issued by banks outside the U.S.). Additionally, valid/active Online Gift Certificates purchased at, with open balances can be applied to your order as a form of payment.

Credit card payments are processed on the day that your order is placed.


We work to protect the security of your personally identifiable information during your interactions on the D’Artagnan Web Site by using Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") software, which is designed to encrypt the information you input. If you’re having trouble submitting your payment information to complete your order, it could be for a variety of reasons. For security purposes, we are unable to assist or tell you the specific reason(s) why a particular transaction may be failing to process, but rather suggest you examine/consider the checklist below:

  • Enter the entire credit card number with NO spaces or dashes.
  • Check that you’ve entered the correct expiration date (and that the card isn’t expired).
  • Be sure you’re using the correct credit card Security Code (3 digits on back of Visa or Mastercard; 4 digits on front of American Express).
  • Use the correct billing name/address associated with the credit card.


This number printed on your card provides a safeguard when a purchase is made using your credit card. It is the 3 digit code on the back of your Visa or MasterCard and a 4 digit code on the front of American Express cards.

All of the payment information you enter during checkout must exactly match what your financial institution has on file. If the information does not match; the transaction will be denied, but some financial institutions will sometimes place an authorization hold on the funds for up to five business days even though no order was placed.

No, we only allow one promotional code to be applied per order.




No. Because our products are consumed and perishable, it is our policy that products should never be returned to D’Artagnan – and Lobster Gram except where specifically requested by customer service. D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram does not accept unauthorized returns. In the event you ship an unauthorized return back to us, D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram is not responsible for refunding any of the shipping costs associated with unauthorized return.

1. Refunds will be given in the same amount and issued to the same form as payment that was made on the original order.
2. Refunds cannot be given to purchases of D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram online gift certificates.
3. Refunds ONLY apply to purchases made at, and NOT those where D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram products are purchased through any of our retailer partners.
4. Items with a value of under $50 will only be refunded, not replaced.

In the case of orders placed at the D’Artagnan website, D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram do not issue refunds or replacements if:
1. The order is unable to be delivered and/or arrives late due to: incorrect, invalid or incomplete addresses entered by the consumer.
2. Delivery problems are specifically caused by the shipping company.
3. Delivery is delayed or affected by weather and/or acts of god.
4. Products are improperly handled/stored after being successfully delivered.
5. A delivery/shipment is refused by the recipient and/or returned to D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram without authorization.

You may cancel an online order (except D’Artagnan online gift certificates), provided you notify D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram by 5pm (ET), THREE business days before the scheduled delivery date. (Example: For an order with a Tuesday delivery date, D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram would need to be notified by the previous Thursday.)

In the event your cancellation request is made within THREE business days before the scheduled delivery date (Example: Your cancellation request is sent on the same day the order was placed), D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram will do all we can do to honor your request but if the order has already been packed or shipped, we will be unable to cancel the order.

However, due to high demand and increased activity in our warehouse, orders shipping during the holiday season (November and December) may only be canceled with a request at least 12 business days before the ship date. Please call customer service to make request and get confirmation.

To add items to your order, we kindly ask that you place a separate order for the additional items you'd like to purchase. Unfortunately, we are unable to make additions to existing orders. This ensures efficient processing and accurate fulfillment of your order.




Yes. D'Artagnan online gift certificates may be purchased at in any of the pre-determined denominations offered. For D’Artgnan gift certificates visit our Gift Certificate Page or for Lobster Gram gift certificates visit Gift Certificate Page for more options.

D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram online gift certificates purchased through may only be used toward future purchases made at D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram online gift certificates function just like currency and will be applied to any merchandise and shipping fees.

  • D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram online gift certificates are not redeemable or refundable for cash unless required by law.
  • D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram online gift certificates may not be redeemed to purchase other online gift certificates.


No. Any unused portion of the D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram online gift certificate will remain available in our system and can be used toward a future purchase or subsequent order.


Upon completing your order, a gift certificate email is immediately sent to the D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram online gift certificate recipient you specified and can be used right away.

You have the option to delay sending of the gift certificate and designate a specific day of delivery via email.

No. Because gift certificates are delivered instantly after being purchased, D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram online gift certificate purchases cannot be cancelled or refunded.


No. D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram online gift certificates are only delivered via email to the gift certificate recipient.

Yes. The D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram online gift certificate will be delivered via email to the gift certificate recipient and the regular products in the same order will ship to the physical shipping address on the delivery date specified during checkout.

Yes. However, you need to add each gift certificate separately to your cart from the Gift Certificate page.

Yes. However, discount/promotion codes will only be applied – as allowed – to regular products and/or shipping amounts related to that order.

You can contact Customer Service and ask them to resend the gift certificate email. However, for security purposes, we are not able to change or modify the recipient email address for that gift certificate.

From time to time, D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram may email gift certificate recipients a reminder notice. Additionally, at the bottom of our Gift Certificate Page, you can enter your gift certificate code anytime to see your available balance.

Yes. During checkout, enter the gift recipient’s information on the shipping address page, and enter your information on the billing address page.

With the exception of D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram online gift certificate email notifications, gift recipients will not receive any email notifications from D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram. With any gift order, we strongly recommend you:

  • Double check you have the correct shipping/delivery address;
  • Selected a delivery day when the recipient will be home/available to accept the delivery; and
  • Consider personally notifying the recipient that you have purchased something for them.


Yes. During checkout, on the shipping page, select “yes” next to “Is this a gift?” and a form box will appear allowing you to add a 250 character message which will be printed on the packing slip included in the order. D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram is not responsible for typographical errors in gift messages.

No. We don't currently offer gift wrap.

Not at this time – as each order can have only one shipping address and one gift message.

No. The packing slip included with the order will only list the quantity and type of items in the order.




High-demand, seasonal products (i.e. fresh turkey, fresh capon and fresh goose) arrive at our warehouse just a few days before key holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas to ensure the highest level of freshness. In the weeks leading up to these holidays/occasions, these items are made available for “pre-order” – which is something we encourage you do to ensure you will receive your specialty holiday items. When your shopping cart contains any "pre-order" products, the checkout will automatically present you ONLY with the available delivery dates for that item and the associated upcoming holiday. Accordingly, any other products in that same order must ship on the same day as the "pre-order" product(s) or be ordered separately if you wish a different delivery date.

Sometimes. Because you can order up to a month in advance of your requested delivery date, the product you ordered may not be available on the day your order is scheduled to be packed. In most cases, D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram customer service will do our best to contact you to discuss items that are unable to ship and/or provide alternate product suggestions. In cases where a frozen item is not available, D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram may automatically substitute the fresh or comparable version (if available) at no extra charge.

All prices at D’Artagnan and Lobster Gram are subject to change without notice. Temporary and/or time-sensitive sales and special pricing will not be held beyond the expiry date, even if the item(s) are added to your cart. With any purchase, the active price at the time you submit payment for your order is what you will be charged.
