D'Artagnan's exclusive Green Circle chicken program was developed to revive the flavor of farmyard chickens from over a century ago, and the results have earned permanent placement on menus at some of the country's top restaurants and a celebrated front-page feature in the New York Times. Raised by small Amish and Mennonite family farms in Pennsylvania Dutch country using a regenerative farming system, these birds are fed surplus vegetables and wholesome gluten-free grain from the farm's own mill, with no antibiotics or hormones ever used. Air-chilled and ASPCA-certified, Green Circle chickens deliver a noticeably more robust, nuanced flavor and supple, juicy texture than conventional options. Available whole and in cuts.
