Also known as the Maine Shore Clambake Deluxe. Bring the flavors of Maine to your kitchen with this lobster dinner packed with sensational seashore favorites. Start with clam chowder and snow crab cocktail claws—both are pre-cooked and delivered frozen to make preparation a breeze. Steam the mussels in white wine, and serve over pasta, with bread to soak up the juices, or with fries, like the French do. The clams can be cooked in the same lobster pot (check our cooking tips for details) along with the potatoes and corn. After you enjoy these seafood treats, indulge in the clean crisp flavors of fresh live Maine lobsters with plenty of butter and lemon.

Fresh from the shores of Maine, we provide everything you need to experience a taste of New England at your next gathering. All you need is a cooking vessel and a very hungry crowd.

SINGLE-POT DIRECTIONS:

  • STEP 1: Find the largest pot you have and then fill it ½ full with water and bring to a boil.
  • STEP 2: When the water is at a full, rolling boil, carefully drop your potatoes directly into the water. Cover and boil for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 3: Grasp the live lobsters firmly around their back, just behind the head, to safely pick them up, and then gently slip them into the water. We recommend you leave the rubber bands on the claws for safety reasons, but feel free to remove if you prefer. Add the bag of clam chowder to the pot, keeping it contained within the bag. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 4: Gently add the provided clams (in mesh bag) to the pot, as well as the provided corn (still in the husk). Cover & cook for 3-5 minutes. When everything is done, the lobsters will turn red, the clamshells will open, & the potatoes will be easily pierced with a fork.
  • STEP 5: Dig in! Serve with the broth and melted butter (also provided), and savor the experience.

SWEET CORN & NEW POTATOES DIRECTIONS:

    BOILING METHOD:
Boiling is the most common way to cook either of these vegetables. For corn, peel off the husk and silk before placing in boiling water, and then cook for 5-7 minutes, or until done. Potatoes should be gently washed, with any eyes and black spots removed, then placed in a pot of cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a soft boil for 20 minutes, or until tender.

    GRILLING METHOD:
If grilling is your plan, grab some heavy-duty foil wrap. Soak your corn (in the husk) in cold water for about 30 minutes. Wrap each ear of corn in foil and then place on a medium-hot grill. Cook for a total of 12-18 minutes, turning four times so each individual side cooks evenly. When you`re done, remove the husk and silk very carefully. The silk should slide off easily but be careful, it will be hot!

    SNOW CRAB CLAWS DIRECTIONS:
Our Snow Crab Claws are delivered pre-cooked and frozen. When you`re ready to serve, simply remove from the freezer, thaw overnight in the refrigerator, and then rinse under cold water and drain. Then all you have to do is serve with our famous cocktail sauce and enjoy!

    MUSSELS DIRECTIONS:
  • Steam for 3-5 minutes in 1" of liquid: water, wine, tomato sauce, etc., until just after they open their shell.
  • Remove the beard (the membrane that stores sand and grit) by simply pulling it away from the meat.
  • Serve mussels over pasta or in bowls with bread on the side to soak up the juice.
  • Save the clear cooking juices to make soup or prepare sauces.
  • We source all our lobsters from the icy cold waters of the North Atlantic. Our dedication to sustainability dates back to when Lobster Gram opened our doors in 1987 as the first to deliver live Maine lobsters directly to home cooks.

All our processes, and the partners who help carry them out, adhere to the Lobster Conservation Code of Conduct. Important sustainability practices safeguard the rich resources found in the region, which allows the industry to prosper generation after generation.

Along with live lobsters, we offer raw tails and cooked claws, processed in our state-of-the-art seafood facilities and shipped from our warehouse near the Chicago O'Hare airport with the same care and expertise.

As we became known for sharing the lobster experience with people across the nation, we got requests for other favorites associated with summers along the East Coast. Our lobster dinner packages reflect the best of those flavors and include New England classics, a mix of seafood dishes, and even soups, sides, and signature desserts. Our goal is to make it easy to prepare lobster and seafood feasts at home and create new memories at the table.
