Nate SmithNate Smith is the chef-owner of Allswell restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. Chef Smith studied at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, after which he got his footing working the line at Farallon Restaurant.
In 2004 Nate moved to NYC and worked under the tutelage of April Bloomfield at The Spotted Pig for a total of seven years, during which he received the title of Head Chef. In November of 2011 Nate opened his very own restaurant, Allswell. With a concentration on market driven food, Allswell is a blend of seasonal American with European influences, the New American Gastropub, with the purpose to serve high quality food in a pub-style environment.
