Today, the Societa Agricola Acetomodena continues the ancient traditions of Modena, famed for producing balsamic vinegar. The Vecchi family has been making vinegar for several generations – some of the barrels in their acetaia are over 150 years old. Their high-quality balsamic vinegars are crafted from grapes grown in family vineyards. This fine vinegar is made from white grapes and infused with the bright color and sharp flavor of mustard seeds. Use it as a condiment paired with meats, fish, and cheeses, as an addition to sandwiches, salads, hamburgers, and hot dogs. It can also be used as an ingredient in dressings, glazes, sauces, soups, and marinades for meats such as pork.

Every pantry deserves a great olive oil, and our exclusive Reserve Jean Reno Olive Oil from Provence is stone-pressed at a historic mill using traditional methods. Joining the French bottles is a line of olive oils from Spain, crafted by multi-generational family farms and mills, along with vinegars made from fine Spanish wine, and heirloom olives from Sevilla.

Next to the olive oil, there must be vinegar, and we have a diverse collection of fine vinegars from producers around the world. As one of the most versatile ingredients in the kitchen, vinegar adds brightness, balances richness, and sharpens flavor in many dishes.
