Among its many virtues, our chicken is raised free-range without antibiotics or hormones and fed surplus vegetables just like farmyard birds used to be. If that wasn’t enough, this chicken is also Certified Humane® by Humane Farm Animal Care. One of our favorite chicken cuts, these boneless and skinless thighs will cook evenly and more quickly than bone-in thighs. Great for grilling and baking, succulent and dark thigh meat takes marinades well and is a versatile cut to enjoy in your favorite chicken recipes. Because they’re air-chilled, they don't retain water weight and offer only pure chicken flavor.

Cooking Tips:

For the most simple preparation, follow these steps to experience the true flavor of our Green Circle boneless skinless chicken thighs.

Bring the chicken to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before cooking. This ensures that the chicken will cook evenly. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while you wait.

Season the chicken generously with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices. Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat with a tablespoon of oil. Once the skillet is hot, place the chicken thighs in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Searing before roasting adds flavor and texture to the finished dish.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast the chicken for 10-12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature.

Remove and let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Resting before serving allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in more moist and flavorful chicken.

On the Grill:

Place the chicken thighs on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Grilling adds a smoky flavor and crisp texture to the chicken, making it a delicious and healthy option for outdoor cooking. Serve the grilled chicken with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables, corn on the cob, or a fresh salad.

Our signature bird proves the saying that “a happy chicken is a tasty chicken.” Green Circle™ chicken is regeneratively raised on managed pasture and is Certified Humane® by Humane Farm Animal Care. We developed this special program with Amish and Mennonite family farms to recreate the full flavor of old-fashioned chicken—the kind that foraged in pasture and farmyards and ate supplemental vegetable scraps from the garden and kitchen.

In that tradition, we turn food waste into healthy protein. Our chickens eat a diet that includes clean surplus vegetables from local farms and markets— bruised, cut, or otherwise unattractive vegetables—along with grains like corn and soy.

Green Circle chickens enjoy more than twice the barn space required to be considered free-range; they have year-round access to the outdoors and the ability to forage naturally and are raised to 52 days, as opposed to 42 days, which is standard for commercially raised chickens.

All Green Circle chickens are air-chilled and hand-processed in a low-volume facility near the farms where they are raised. Our farmers are true stewards of the Earth, as all waste and processing waste are composted and returned to the soil to improve its health and provide for future generations.
