The readily available garlic sausage I use for cassoulet is bland and doesn't taste of garlic. Once you have tasted this sausage, you will know why the French love garlic sausage. It tastes of garlic and has a rich, textured taste. This is the right stuff. Excellent taste, texture, fully cooked - easy to use. I served this over French Lentils. I sauted slices in a bit of olive oil until crisp. It is one of my favorite sausages ever, and my guests said the same thing.. I also used it in Cassoulet.
