duck bacon is the perfect compromise for me who likes turkey bacon and my mom who loves regular bacon. It's thick quite tastey. I'm anxious to try a mac n cheese recipe I saw. I've also used it to wrap turkey tenderlons!! I just wish ducks were bigger!!! I must say before this I had never tried duck bacon, but I was very impressed. The bacon was delicious, and it seems to be very versatile, it can be used for more than just breakfast. i made jalapeno poppers with them by emptying out mergez sausages into halved jalapenos and putting the duck bacon on top of the ground meat, and baking them, and they came out great. I think this will be a staple in my home for a while, this is not a novelty item in my book. Breakfast, sauteed with vegetables, on a burger I was a little worried since the prior review said it was too salty. We tried it for breakfast last weekend and it was F A N T A S T I C. Will definitely order large quantities for the holiday season (gifts & home use.) The flavor is better than pork bacon. It's slightly thick cut. The good flavor is trumped by too much salt.
