Kevin Nashan was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he grew up working in his family’s restaurant, La Tertulia, which was in business for 27 years. Kevin Nashan was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he grew up working in his family’s restaurant, La Tertulia, which was in business for 27 years. After graduating from St. Louis University, Kevin attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York. He then spent five years traveling and working in restaurants around the world including Le Francais, Daniel and Martin Berasategui. He took over as chef and owner of the St. Louis landmark restaurant, Sidney Street Café, in 2003.
