If you crave the ultimate Wagyu beef experience, sink your teeth into one of our Kobe-style Wagyu striploin steaks! Perfect for a special occasion meal or a weeknight treat.
D'Artagnan's domestically-raised Kobe-style Wagyu beef comes from the famous breed of steer used to produce the renowned Kobe beef of Japan—the world’s gold standard for truly tender, flavorful beef. Raised in Texas in a low-stress environment, our steer receive clean water and a grass and grain diet. No antibiotics, hormones or animal by-products are ever used. And, like their Japanese cousins, our Wagyu’s strictly followed diet rotation is the secret to the development of its characteristic marbling, delicate texture and superb flavor. The result is a superbly flavorful meat that is well marbled, extremely tender and mouthwateringly juicy. The bone-in strip loin steak is perfect for grilling or broiling. With beef this flavorful, all you need is a little salt and pepper for an accent.
For best results, we recommend cooking our Wagyu striploin steaks rare to medium rare over a medium high heat; overcooking can melt the marbling of this delicate meat and cause it to become tough and chewy.
"Kyle Ketchum garnishes seared Kobe-style Wagyu steak with homemade rosemary-dijon spaetzle. He reserves a dollop of mustard for the top of each steak."
