What is your product availability? Products shown and sold on dartagnan.com are, on occasion, not available on the day requested and at the price shown. If a product you’ve ordered online is unavailable at the time of shipment, we will ship the items that are available and contact you by email or phone regarding any backordered items to advise you of the expected ship date and to offer alternate product suggestions as needed. Prices on items ordered online will be honored at all times. Please note, however, that new orders placed by phone will be subject to current pricing.
Why is the price of an item in my saved shopping cart different from when I selected it? Prices are subject to change — including temporary reductions as well as permanent increases. The prices of items in your cart represent the current price for which you will be charged.

Can I select the delivery date for my order? Yes. We love when people plan ahead! There is a drop down menu in the checkout process, with available delivery dates.
Can I change the delivery date? You can call us or email email@example.com to change the delivery date once your order is placed.
What payment methods do you accept? Credit card payments are processed through Authorize.net on the day that your order is received. The following credit cards, issued by a US financial institution, are accepted for payment: Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We regret that we are unable to accept credit cards that have been issued by banks outside the U.S. Please note: For your security, your billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for payment. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not fit these criteria.

What is the credit card verification number? This number printed on your card provides a safeguard when a purchase is made using your credit card. It is the 3 digit code on the back of your Visa or Mastercard and American Express it the 4 digit code on the front of the card
I just placed my order online. How will I know the order was received? You will receive an email confirmation when the order is placed.
Will my order stay fresh while in transit? Your order will be carefully packed in a reusable, insulated box with ice packs designed to maintain your items in good condition for up to 48 hours. Please note: frozen items may begin to thaw during transit. Also, do not leave items in the insulated box once it arrives. Please unpack as soon as possible after delivery and place in refrigerator or freezer. We are not responsible for product damaged by improper handling once package arrives.
Do you require someone to sign for the package at delivery? Orders under $500 do not require a signature, but if you live in an apartment building or complex, FedEx will generally not leave the package without a signature.
Can I track my order status? FedEx provides tracking numbers for all packages. You will receive a separate email with that number once the order has been processed by FedEx.
This is a gift; do you include prices on your packing slip No. If the bill-to address and ship-to address are different, our system will automatically print a gift slip without prices on it to be included with the order.
Can I order gift certificate online? To purchase a D'Artagnan Gift Certificate online, find the “Gifts & Collections” tab and in the drop-down menu, click on the category “Gift Certificates.” You will find all the relevant information needed to purchase gift certificates there. We will gladly include a personal message from you - please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your order ID and the message.
Can I add a gift message to my order? Yes. You can email the message to email@example.com – remember to include your order number. Your message will be printed on the gift packing slip included in the order.
Is gift wrap available? Sorry, we don’t offer that service yet!
What should I do with my ice gel pack once I receive my order? Ice gel packs are useful! You can store them either in your freezer or unfrozen at room temperature. Refreeze them before a road trip, a farm visit, a picnic or camping trip, and put them in your cooler or insulated bag. However, if you notice that they are punctured, you should throw them away.
Why do you pack your food in Styrofoam boxes? We know that this material is problematic to recycle. However, we have tried a few green options without acceptable results. We continue to explore packaging options that are recyclable and ecologically sound. In the meantime, Styrofoam boxes are the most efficient, lightweight packaging that keeps our food at a constant and safe temperature throughout the shipping process. Once your package arrives, it is advised to unpack items as soon as possible and place in refrigerator or freezer
